Macabre and classicist ideals, conjoin. There is truth in that beauty.

One of my favorite sculptures. I was an art history major and wrote my Greek Art paper on this piece (and whether it was actually a Michelangelo forgery like some say rather than a Hellenistic original). I concluded that it's not. :) Definitely an original.
